Casing shoes are diamond tools used to prevent material from collapsing into the hole. Typically, casing spikes are screwed onto casing rods and are used in mining or geotechnical and geothermal applications.
Casing shoes are used to prevent material from collapsing into the hole. Typically, a casing shoe is screwed onto the casing, thereby retaining the core barrel within the casing itself. Therefore, eventual material collapse from the hole surface does not interfere with the drilling operation. We produce casing shoes for B and N casings, BSI standard casings and wires AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ and Geobor S. Nexus also produces special casing shoes for non-standard casing, with various dipping heights as well as matrices to adapt the shoes to specific drilling competitions and customer expectations. We design and produce special diamond tools for any type of casing.
